I doubt
that Coulsdon is high on people's list of "places to visit in the
UK".
The town
centre is a good example of why the UK's high streets are dying, with its
depressing selection of shops and teenagers wandering aimlessly around
wondering wassup??
Although to
give them credit, the Council is trying to attract shoppers by offering 1 hour
free parking (an initiative which should be adopted across the board in my
opinion).
It's places
like Art Rebellion that will help to reinvigorate these tired High streets and
bring something new and exciting to the table.

Even Marilyn approves. |
Want to drink tea on a mini-cooper car cum sofa? Tick.
Want to eat cake in the company of a
Michael Jackson mannequin dressed in a military uniform? Tick.
Want to have a coffee surrounded by a
colourful array of modern art that you can also buy? Tick.
Tick. Tick. Tick.
This is not the real Michael |
If you want the area you live to be full of interesting places to hang out with your crew, rather than chillin' in a Ladbrokes, then do yourself and your neighbours a favour and support businesses like Art Rebellion.
